Must-productions represents the show Carmen at the Tobacco Factory of Seville from June 1 to August 1 in the courtyard of the source of the Rectory, in the former tobacco factory in Seville, at the hands of the Cultural Enterprise Centre at the University of Sevilla (CICUS) and the Institute of Culture and Arts Hall (ICAS).

The show
Carmen is a tragic story, with all the tragic elements that need. Love, rivalry, risk, power struggle, death. A story that takes place between the colors of the holiday in Andalusia, bright, light and privacy of the death scenes.

The original story could have been born anywhere in the world, Scotland, France, but born here in Andalusia and Seville Spain. This is what has to be highlighted and used in the show. The opportunity to do the work in the former tobacco factory, the University today is a unique pportunities for ourselves and for the viewer.

The distribution
Maria Martinez de Tejada was the actress chosen to portray the most universal cigarette after a hard cast that have submitted hundreds of applications. Beside her on stage will be a cast of 15 artists who began to surround the woman protagonist with six men, with names Hannibal height and Chema Soto del Barco, both with a long history in film, television and theater. A second line will consist of six acting actresses who embody "projections of different moments in the life of Carmen, being a kind of amplifiers situations and feelings of the protagonist in the development of the show."
